Terms of Service
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of Raisebase. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Raisebase helps founders find and organise investors. Investor information is compiled from public records and may be incomplete or out of date. It is not investment, legal or financial advice, and we don’t guarantee any investor will respond or invest.
Your account
- Keep your login details secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You own the content you add (notes, profiles, uploads) and give us permission to process it to provide the service.
Acceptable use
- Outreach you send using our drafts goes from your own email account and must follow the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable laws: accurate sender details, honest subject lines, and honouring requests to stop.
- Don’t resell, bulk-download or republish the database, or use it to harass anyone.
- Don’t upload data you don’t have the right to use.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service.
Plans and billing
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled; the Raise pass is a one-time purchase for six months of access. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, whose checkout terms also apply. You can cancel any time from Settings and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We’ll post updates here and email account holders about material changes.
