About ZInvestorHunting
ZInvestorHunting helps startup founders raising from pre-seed to Series B find the investors most likely to back them this year, and reach them. It starts from public records instead of a list someone typed up once: every fund, deal and partner we show links to the SEC filing or website it came from.
What’s in it
The public directory lists 8,361 US investors (venture firms, angels, syndicates and accelerators). 2,935 of them filed a new fund, deal vehicle or board seat with the SEC in the last 12 months, and those are the ones our listings show. Behind them sit 20,404 funds and deal vehicles and 18,200 startups with funding data. The data was last rebuilt in Oct 2026.
The methodology page explains where each field comes from and how estimates such as check size are made.
What the product does
- Investor search: describe your startup in plain English and get investors ranked by how well they fit, with the evidence for each match.
- Warm intros: upload your LinkedIn connections and see who in your network can introduce you to each investor.
- Outreach: a personal email draft per investor, sent from your own inbox, plus a forwardable blurb for introducers.
- Running the raise: a pipeline CRM, reminders, a week-by-week raise plan and tracked deck links.
The investor directory and the fundraising tools are free to use without an account. Everything else starts with a 3-day trial; see pricing.
What we hold, and what we don’t
We store professional information only: firm names, business addresses, websites and phone numbers as published, funds and deal vehicles, portfolio activity, and the names and titles of people on those filings. We don’t scrape LinkedIn or collect personal contact details. Anyone can ask us to correct or remove a profile, and removed profiles stay removed after each refresh. Nothing here is investment advice.
